Baker Ross source and distribute crafts, toys and fund raising products direct to both schools and consumers through mail order catalogues and eCommerce websites.
In 1999 Baker Ross approached Exact Abacus with a requirement to update their back office system to help increase the order turnaround/processing efficiency. The business model for Baker Ross is quite complex though and as a result the back office required integrated functionality to bind the various entities together.
Subsequently, the 3EX system has been modelled as the business hub, integrating with products and services provided by other partners. For example the third party eCommerce provider and Contact Centre have seamlessly integrated transactional data using the 3ex task scheduler, thus enabling Baker Ross to automate the vast majority of routine and manual tasks.
