Mencap, the voice of learning disability, approached Exact Abacus in the Spring of 2010 to use the 3ex.net software to power their online purchasing system.
Mencap is a highly regarded charity that works in partnership with people with a learning disability, with everything that they do revolving around valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers.
The project with Exact Abacus arose when Mencap were considering developing a web-based intuitive purchasing interface.
Via the 3EX.NET software, Exact Abacus integrated the purchasing interface with a back office suite that includes: stock control, drop-ship management, sales order processing and financials, creating a seamless supply chain for capital equipment and consumables across the charity's sites in the UK.
