Home Brew Online are an internet based retailer of materials and supplies for home brew enthusiasts, covering many alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, cider, spirits and liqueur. Home Brew Online approached Exact Abacus in 2010 looking for an efficient back office solution that they could use over multiple channels and increase order processing efficiency.
Having already developed an eCommerce website interface via third party software, Home Brew wanted a system that would be able to integrate with the website to provide all of the necessary back office solutions.
Exact Abacus worked with Home Brew Online to implement the 3ex.net back office system to allow Home Brew to manage their order processing, purchasing, stock control, warehousing and fulfilment through the single platform. Further integration was required however to manage the company’s multi channel retailing.
Home Brew Online, had been operating via eBay and Amazon for a number of years prior to launching their own dedicated website. The new 3ex.net back office solution would be required to integrate with these channels and manage all business processes via the same system. Using Aimco software, the Exact Abacus 3ex.net platform was able to fulfil this requirement allowing Home Brew Online to manage a comprehensive eCommerce back office solution all under one roof.
