Kettler (GB) Limited is part of the German manufacturing group Heinz Kettler GmbH & Co. Whether it is fitness equipment or garden furniture, a table tennis table or one of their famous Kettcars, the quality universally recognised and symbolise quality, style and durability. In fact everything you would expect from a product made in Germany.
Kettler commissioned Exact Abacus having analysed the market for a new IT system for the company long before the concept of multi-channel retailing had been considered. The concept of the software being able to support the business, and the flexibility that 3ex offered from this, proved to be a major attraction.
The implementation of the 3ex back office system included, stock control, order processing, customer relationship management, warehouse management, campaign planning and financials. Following a successful period with the new 3ex system, Kettler commissioned Exact Abacus to further the project and design and develop a new eCommerce website to sit on the 3ex platform and integrate with the existing back office software.
Not only has Exact provided the web design, back office, and eCommerce platforms, the Exact call centre, based in Chorley, also provides direct marketing, out of hours and overspill call management for other parts of Kettlers business.
