Stock Control & Warehouse Management
The 3EX.NET Stock Control & Warehouse Management module, optimises your warehouse processes to increase the flow of goods and reduce costs.
Used in conjunction with the 3EX.NET Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management software modules, all business processes are fused together, ensuring efficiency and thus accelerating return on investment. 3EX.NET Stock Control Software includes the following tools to effectively manage your stock and warehouse:
Stock Location Management
The 3EX.NET Stock Control and Warehouse Management module allows you to optimise the use of space within your warehouse, using store and bin profiling and metrics. 3EX.NET stores stock of all of your SKU's at a location level, allowing the same items to be held in multiple locations within a store or even multiple locations within multiple stores. This ensures that your Warehouse team know exactly where an item is currently located and even where it has been in the past.
Stock holding locations and products can be managed using either Volumetric (Height / Width / Depth) Measurements or Stock Levels to control the items which can be stored within each location.
Put Away / Stock Receipting
The Receipting Functionality of the Stock Control module ensures stock can be quickly receipted, reconciled with the original purchase order and put away with minimum effort and maximum accuracy. The 3EX.NET system allows the user to receipt purchase orders and then suggests whereabouts stock should be placed. The user is at liberty to override the system if required. Stock Replenishments
The Stock Replenishment system will intelligently prompt the user to move stock from a Bulk area of the warehouse to the picking zone. Alternatively, the replenishment system can be configured to replenish stock across stores. As with the Put Away system, the Replenishment system will use either Volumetric Measurements or Pre-Defined Stock Levels, to determine how much stock needs to be replenished. Alternatively, the Replenishment system can be configured to replenish stock depending on demand. I.e. if you have orders on the system for items which are in stock but which are inaccessible to your pickers (i.e. on a high bay), then the system will hold the orders back (i.e. not print off Picking Notes) until the stock has been replenished to the Picking Face.
The Replenishment system also integrates with the Pocket 3EX.NET module to ensure stock accurarcy and replenishment completion.
Pick, Pack and Dispatch
The Picking management system within 3EX.NET is very comprehensive and infinitely flexible. As standard the 3EX.NET system offers a Basic Picking system which simply prints a single picking note per order. This process can be changed extensively when using defined picking locations. 3EX.NET will produce bulk picking notes in least walk sort order, offer slot / trolley picking and even integrate with the Pocket 3EX.NET module to increase efficiency and eradicate picking errors.
The Pick Management system can be configured to produce Picking Notes or Bulk Picking Lists as and how they are required by your warehoue team. For example, your warehouse manager may wish to produce picking lists for all single line / item orders, all next day deliveries or perhaps all orders over a certain value. All this can be achieved and can be pre-configured in such a way that you just need to push a button. In fact you don't even have to do that, as production of picking notes can be automated so that picking notes / lists are waiting on the printer when your team arrive in the morning.
Mobile Warehouse Management
The Pocket 3EX.NET module application increases stock accuracy and eradicates picking errors. When used in conjunction with the Dispatch Confirmation system, items will not leave your warehouse until they have been scanned and confirmed at least three times; once at point of receipt, once whilst being picked and once whilst being packaged and dispatched. This level of validation increases your stock accuracy, thus minimising picking discrepancies and lowering customer returns, whilst at the same time improving the efficiency of your warehouse team.
