Stock Take

3EX.NET Stock Control software includes accurate Stock Take functionality that has been designed to impose best practice disciplines on the receipting, movement and dispatch of items from your warehouse.

Extensive use of barcode validation and Mobile 3EX.NET technology ensures that system stock levels are always real-time and accurate. To support this, 3EX.NET Stock Control software is supplied with a comprehensive stock-taking module which can be used for both perpetual inventory (cycle) or full warehouse counts.

Users have the ability to pre-define stock take templates and automatically schedule counts in the future. Selection criteria include:

• By Product Group
• By Product (or range)
• By Warehouse or Store
• By Warehouse Zone
• By Bin Location (or range)
• By Bin Priority

Upon confirmation of the stock count, the software will highlight any items that are currently classed as 'work in progress' and cannot be counted e.g. items on a current pick list or those awaiting movement within the warehouse on a replenishment job. Once these conflicts have been resolved physical stock movements [on the items to be counted only] are frozen until the quantities at location have been confirmed and updated. All other system activity such as sales order entry and customer services can continue for the duration of this process.
