December has seen a number of key product updates to the 3ex.net system, from both a front end and back office perspective. We have picked out what we consider to be some of the key developments for your consideration.
Quantity Ratio enhancement: The Quantity Ratio system has been enhanced to calculate prices based on the ratio. This is useful when selling in lengths or any other units that can be split. E.g. Where selling in Metres but the pricing is held in Kilometres. (CMS2006022)
Embed Websites into 3EX.NET:The ability to embed a web browser into a Menu Tab of 3EX.NET is now available, this can be used to embed any website into 3EX.NET. We recommend you add http://support.exactabacus.com as a Web Browser Tab, thus giving all of your staff quick access to our support site. (TASK100913)
Bill of Material Editing:Product Bill of Materials can now be edited on-the-fly within the 3EX.NET Back Office Order Entry system. This is really useful where you need to be able to alter the components of a BOM without wishing to create a brand new BOM Product. (CMS2004380)
Override Hold Reasons: Functionality to override Hold Reasons is now available, previously it wasn’t possible to release an order where it was automatically held, now held reasons can be overridden (by authorised users) thus allowing orders to be released even when held. (CMS2006269)
Account Transaction Allocation: The Account Transaction Allocation program has been re-developed to allow multiple selections of Debit and Credit transactions. (CMS2005876)
Loyaty Points: A Loyalty Points system has been developed. This system allows Customers to earn points when they purchase products, the points can then redeemed on future purchases providing the customer has enough points to purchase the product in full. Point values are stored within the Price Matrix system, thus different products can have different point values. This is currently a back-office only feature. (CMS2006146).
Product Stock Enquiry Exports:The ‘Export to Excel’ feature has been added to the ‘Product Stock Enquiry’, ‘Stock Costing Enquiry’ and ‘View Nominals’ screens.
Website Internal Link enhancement: Website Internal Links now work with images (previously they only worked with text). Internal Links make it easy to link to products and hierarchies from within content managed pages. (CMS2005894)
