Returns Management

3EX.NET software provides your customers with many happy returns!

 

3EX.NET returns handling is split into two parallel processes - customer and stock. This approach enables the rapid turnaround of a customer refund, replacement or substitution, without the need to manage the returned stock item first. Returned items can be receipted and quarantined, prior to processing at a later date.

Returns management can be further enhanced using barcoded labels within a multi-functional dispatch note. in this case, the parcel can be scanned into the warehouse without the need for manual keying. Functionality includes:

  • Documentation - provide barcoded returns documentation for quick receipting and process.
  • Customer-side - select the appropriate returns transaction – refund, replacement or substitution, before or after return of original goods
  • Stock-side - place returned stock items into workflow for scrap, rework, return to supplier or stock adjustment.
  • Reporting - all returns are traceable back to source code and are factored into forecast models within the 3EX.NET Supply Chain module.
