New Clients Flocking to Exact Abacus Fulfilment

2015 has kick started with six new clients signing up for our stock management, order fulfilment and IT services:

Skin Matrix, the UK’s sole provider of Phasilab’s Cosmeceutical skin care products.

Bowhurst, who create British-made bags and apparel for keen adventurers.

Milkteds, the pioneers using milk fibre yarns to make compression hosiery and socks.

Northern Runner, an eCommerce retailer of running shoes for all abilities and terrains.

UK Commission for Employment and Skills responsible for running the Investors in People programme.

With over 120 eCommerce clients dispatching an average of 10,000 orders a week from our contemporary warehouse facility in Chorley, our fulfilment credentials are growing at a rate of knots. Amongst our diverse customer base we stock items ranging from vitamins and ambient foods to sports equipment, soft toys, tools and e-cigarettes.

Managing Director, Lee Gregson, comments: “As an eCommerce services provider we’ve continued to grow with the rise of multi-channel retail and identified the strain of margin pressure retailers are facing in a breadth of sectors. By supporting businesses in a smart, cost-effective and sustainable way, we help our clients to grow through our unique positioning. Following a tremendous finish to last year, 2015 has continued in the same vein.”

Our online retail clients cited a whole host of reasons for outsourcing their fulfilment requirements to us including: lower carriage rates, flexible storage capacity, integrated IT applications and pay-as-you-go invoicing that exchanges fixed costs for a variable pricing solution which track sales revenue across the year. This adaptable approach allows marketing, sales growth and new product development to take centre stage, with less capital required and better cashflow as a result.

With our cutting-edge 3EX.NET software solution and advanced handling equipment at the heart of our client operations, seamless and scalable processes ensue with the ability to monitor all fulfilment activities in real-time. In Q4 2014, 99.1% of orders were dispatched on the same day of receipt.

Lee Gregson continues: “We’re delighted to be one of the main employers in East Lancashire and perfectly situated to take advantage of the flourishing demand for outsourced services. Our clients can be certain that whatever they plan for the future, we will be ready to assist them every step of way.”
