All industries have their own special language, terms, abbreviations and acronyms. Few industries however can compete with the volume and diversity of those used within IT where it is possible to have whole conversations using nothing but these.
As IT is used within all other industries we all have some ability to “talk techie” and recognise terms such as Wi-Fi/Blog etc. and know exactly what they refer to. What we may not always know however is the actual meaning of these acronyms and abbreviations that we use on a regular basis.
